The new generation of Lexus ES350 celebrates on the New York auto show premiered, the first time in a hybrid version.
The Lexus ES is only available in North America and is positioned between the IS and GS. As the only large-sedan Lexus has the ES via the front wheels, that has to do with the technical relationship with the Toyota Camry.
Compared to its predecessor, which was trimmed to just one Lexus Camry, the new ES shows a very distinctive and typical Lexus design. Looking at the ES from the side, he has very coupe-like traits, and therefore fits well with the new Lexus design line.
The interior is very reminiscent of the new GS and offers plenty of space and lots of technical highlights. A Mark Levinson sound system ensures a perfect sound, the finest leather seats for relaxed driving and 10 airbags and numerous assistance systems for more safety.
Among other things there are for the Lexus ES a lane departure warning, blind spot warning system and a brand new and a "Rear Cross Traffic Alert" (RCTA), which is to warn of the intersecting car parking space.
In the engine, customers can choose between the ES 350 with a 3.5 liter V6 engine and the ES 300h with 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, which is supported by an electric motor.
